Every season, Jason Wu delivers two things: A-list models and dramatic, glamorous makeup. So we weren't surprised to see the likes of Karlie Kloss, Hilary Rhoda, Liu Wen, and Jourdan Dunn backstage at his Spring 2014 show, but the rose-gold-hued glitter on the eyes was a touch shocking. Makeup artist Diane Kendal told us the trick to getting the flecks to stay put is a little water on the brush. Everything else on the face was a wash of nudes (and the clothes were, too) to ensure the look remained feminine despite this strong eye.The hint of gold was carried over to the hair with a sleek metal barrette that finished off each model's blunt ponytail. The slicked-back look was inspired by photographer Helmut Newton. Lead stylist Odile Gilbert used Kérastase Gloss Appeal for an almost-wet finish. "It's always about a very chic woman, kind of rich," she said. "It about simple, graphic, but very elegant."

There are still nine days until the Phillip Lim For Target collection lands, but two lucky ladies — Jessica Alba and Solange Knowles — already got to take on the trends at the line's launch party during New York Fashion Week tonight. Jessica dressed up a playful "Boom!" sweater with navy-and-black tuxedo trousers, then finished with a black structured bag also from the collection. Solange stuck to her love of prints in an animal-print miniskirt, then tempered the wildness via the navy-and-black tuxedo blazer. Both stars were fashionable in their respective ensembles, but who wore her Phillip Lim For Target look better?
We're kicking off New York Fashion Week with our first look backstage at BCBG Max Azria with Lubov Azria herself. Celebrating 25 years of the brand, Spring '14 is all about reinterpreting the archives. See what Lubov has to say about the new lineup and her take on BCBG after 25 years!
Kerry Washington made her runway debut at the Project Runway finale fashion show during New York Fashion Week today. She strutted her stuff in a floral Stella McCartney frock and was all smiles as she made her way down the catwalk. Kerry joined fellow Project Runway judges Nina Garcia, Zac Posen, and Heidi Klum in the front row to check out collections from the season 12 finalists. The actress has served as a guest judge on the reality show competition twice in past seasons and shared her excitement over the gig on Twitter, saying, "#HereComesTheJudge LOL."Kerry's Fashion Week presence isn't anything new, as she's previously popped up at shows for Calvin Klein and Michael Kors. The Scandal star talked about her love of fashion in the October issue of Glamour and revealed her celebrity alter-ego, Red-Carpet Kerry. "I researched her like any other character," Kerry said, adding, "I actually called a good friend and literally asked, 'How do you pronounce Hermès?' Red-Carpet Kerry needed to know."
